There are four players in NBA history that have compiled 20,000 points, 10,000 rebounds and 4,000 assists: Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Wilt Chamberlain, Karl Malone and Charles Barkley. However, when the conversation turns to the exploits of Barkley, many people think first of the entertaining, sometimes outrageous commentary on basketball and life he provided. As a player he was the greatest anomaly in hoops history. Listed at 6-6, but probably actually closer to 6-4, he played power forward as well as anyone, often dominating players half a foot taller. He was named one of the 50 Greatest Players in NBA History during the 1996–97 NBA season. On the inside back collar of the jacket is the "MacGregor Sand-Knit" manufacturers size 48 tag. Next to this is the “Designed & Tailored Exclusively for Philadelphia 76ers” tag. Adjacent to that are additional embroidered manufacturer’s tags with "89" and "3"LB" on them. Below these is an additional manufacturers' tag with the player number "34" in black marker. On the inside right seam is an additional manufacturer's tag with wash instructions on it. On the left breast is the circular official “Philadelphia 76ers” logo patch. On the upper right breast is the embroidered official NBA logo. Across the back is "SIXERS" in red on white tackle twill. Autographed on front in black marker with “34” added and rates a 9. On the inside back waistband is the "MacGregor Sand-Knit" manufacturers size 38 tag. Next to this is the “Designed & Tailored Exclusively for Philadelphia 76ers” tag. Adjacent to that are three additional manufacturers' tags with "89," "38 IN," and "34" in black marker on them. The jacket and pants show game-use and appear to have no alterations of any kind. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA as well as an additional LOA.
