Hall of Famer and NBA Top 50 Player Bill Walton's professional career began when he was the No. 1 overall pick in the 1974 NBA Draft by the Portland Trailblazers. He was a member of their championship team in 1977 and nine years later he earned another championship title with the Boston Celtics. Offensively, Bill Walton could score at will from the post position, his best move being a jump hook that he shot with either hand. He was a team leader on defense, and also was a superb rebounder and outlet passer on the fast break. Jack Ramsay once said that if injuries hadn't curtailed Bill Walton's career, he would have been recognized as the best all-around center ever. On the left front tail is the "Medalist Sand-Knit” “Designed & Tailored Exclusively for the Boston Celtics" tag. Below that is an additional "Medalist Sand-Knit" manufacturer's tag with the jersey size "44." Across the front of the jersey is "CELTICS." Below that and on the back is the player number "5." Across the back is the player name "WALTON." All lettering and numbering is done in green tackle twill. The jersey shows excellent game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind. Accompanied by an additional LOA.
