An All-America at Southern Illinois, Hall of Famer Walt Frazier was a first round pick of the NBA New York Knicks in 1967. Frazier teamed with fellow Hall of Famers Willis Reed, Bill Bradley and Dave DeBusschere to capture the 1970 NBA Championship, and was one of the important factors in the Knicks' 1973 NBA title. During his career, Frazier was named to the NBA All-Defensive First Team seven times (1969-74) and to the All-NBA First Team four times. "Clyde" was a seven-time NBA All-Star, winning Game MVP honors in 1975. After ten years with the Knicks, Frazier played for three partial seasons with Cleveland. In his 13 years in the NBA, Frazier recorded 15,581 points, 5,040 assists and 4,830 rebounds. In 1979 the Knicks Frazier's No. 10 jersey, and in 1987 he was elected to the Basketball Hall of Fame. Frazier was selected as one of the 50 greatest players in NBA history in 1996. On the front tail of the jersey is the "Medalist Sand-Knit" manufacturers tag with wash instructions and jersey size "42" on it. Above this tag is the "Medalist Sand-Knit" exclusive tag for the "New York Knicks". To the left of that tag is another small tag that reads "3" L.B.". On the inside back collar of the jersey is the "Cosby" distributors tag. Across the front of the jersey is "NEW YORK" in orange on blue tackle twill. Below that and on the back is the player number "10" in orange on blue tackle twill. Across the back is "FRAZIER" in blue tackle twill. The jersey shows game use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
