When Alex Rodriguez put the pinstripes on for the first time in 2004, he knew how special it was going to be. The numbers he has been able to put up have been staggering, winning two MVP awards thus far with the Bronx Bombers. Closing in on 600 career home runs this season, he can now set his sights on 700 and beyond in the years to come, hopefully adding a championship ring or two to his trophy case along the way. On the front left tail is the "Majestic" manufacturers tag with flag tags attached reading size "48," “+1” BODY,” and "2008." Inside the left seam of the jersey is a wash tag with code "0062" Across the front of the jersey is "New York" done in navy blue on white tackle twill. On the back is the player's number "13" done in navy blue on white tackle twill. On the back outside collar is the embroidered official "MLB" logo. On the left sleeve is the “Yankee Stadium Final Season” patch with the black armband for Bobby Murcer below. On the right sleeve is the “2008 All-Star Game” patch. The jersey shows great game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind. Accompanied by a Yankees-Steiner LOA.
