Reggie Jackson excelled in track, football, and baseball in high school. In the major leagues, batting and throwing left-handed and playing outfield, he helped three teams (Oakland Athletics, 1968-75; New York Yankees, 1976-81; California Angels, 1982-87) win five World Series, six pennant races, and 10 divisional playoffs. On the front tail is the "McAULIFFE" manufacturer's tag (carryover from previous season). Below that label is a "42" size tag (Actually measures a 44). Sewn next to the manufacturer's label is a "1975" year tag. To the right of the label is the washing instructions tag. On the front left breast is the "A's" logo in white on yellow tackle twill. On back is the player number "9" in white on yellow tackle twill. Across the back is the player name "JACKSON" is in white tackle twill. Autographed on the front in black marker with “Mr. October” added and rates a 9. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind. The autograph is accompanied by a LOA from JSA.
