On the front left tail is the "RUSSELL ATHLETIC" manufacturer's size "48" tag with wash instructions. Attached are the "100% POLYESTER" and “+2" Extra Length" flag tags. Across the front is "OAKLAND" in green on yellow tackle twill. Below that and on the back is the player number "25" in the same tackle twill. Across the back is the player name "McGWIRE" in green tackle twill on a grey name plate. There is team Velcro between the 2nd and 3rd buttons to keep the jersey secure. On the left sleeve is the A's "Elephant" patch. On the right sleeve is the Athletics “25th Anniversary” patch with the embroidered “Russell” logo below. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
