***THE DESCRIPTION OF THIS LOT HAS CHANGED AND DIFFERS FROM OUR PRINTED CATALOG***On the front left tail is the "SPALDING" manufacturers tag. In the back of the collar is a felt strip tag "40 62 12" in blue chain stitch. Across the front is "METS" in blue on orange felt which is original. On the back is the player number "12" in blue on orange felt which has been restored. On the left sleeve is the "NEW YORK WORLD’S FAIR" patch. The jersey was originally worn in 1962 and then re-used in 1963 and 1964, when the “World’s Fair” patch was added. The jersey shows game-use and except for what is mentioned above appears to have no further alterations of any kind.
