Willie McCovey player 22 seasons in the bigs, 18 with the Giants. During his Hall of Fame career, he won the Rookie of the Year Award, an MVP and was enshrined in Cooperstown in 1986. In the back inside collar is the “Wilson” size 44 manufacturers tag with wash instructions. On the front left tail is a "44 80" embroidered strip tag. Across the front is "Giants." Below and on back is the player number “44.” Across the back is the player name "McCOVEY" on a black name plate. All lettering and numbering is done in orange on white tackle twill. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
