This typed letter on NY Yankee stationary is dated “June 12, 1962.” It is addressed to “Joe Cronin, President American League of Professional Baseball Clubs” and states, in part “Dear Mr. Cronin: This is the play which cost me twenty-five dollars. Sincerely Roger Maris.” The signature is done in black ink and rates an overall 8-9. At the bottom is “acknowledged” hand-written in red. The letter shows some toning and is in overall EX+ condition. It also shows evidence of being folded into three’s. It is accompanied by a LOA from JSA.
