On March 8, 1994, Larry Holmes wore these very trunks in a fight against Garing Lane at Foxwoods Resort in Connecticut. Holmes won the fight in a unanimous decision over 10 rounds. These “Everlast” trunks are white with red trim. The red draw string in front is intact. Holmes has signed the left thigh area in black marker and added the inscription “Peace 3/8/94.” The signature and inscription rate a 7. The shorts show wear with sweat staining around the waistband and appear to have no alterations of any kind. They are accompanied by a hand-signed LOA from Larry Holmes himself as well as a LOA from JSA for the signature.
