In July 2006, Kevin Love verbally committed to play college basketball at UCLA. At the end of the 2007–2008 regular season, Love was named a first-team All-American, Pac-10 freshman of the year and player of the year. He helped lead UCLA to the regular season Pacific 10 conference championship, as well as the conference tournament championship and a #1 seed in the 2008 NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Tournament. On April 17th, 2008 in a press conference, he announced his intention to leave UCLA and enter the 2008 NBA Draft. On the left front tail is the “ADIDAS” manufacturers size 50 tag. Attached is the “2” L.B.” flag tag. Across the front is “UCLA.” The “ULA” are in blue tackle twill with the “C” in yellow on blue tackle twill. Below and on back is the player number “42” in blue tackle twill. Across the back is the player name “LOVE” in blue tackle twill. On the upper left breast is the “NCAA” patch. An extra layer of material has been added to the inside of the jersey. Autographed on front in black marker and rates a 9. This is the only season that U.C.L.A. wore the gold "C" on the front of their jerseys. This was done to commemorate the Bruins being the first college to win 100 National Championships in College Athletics. The jersey shows game-use and besides the extra material added appears to have no other alterations of any kind. The autograph is accompanied by a LOA from JSA.
