This is a game-used first-base from the September 9th, 2009 game at Yankee Stadium between the Yankees and Rays in which Derek Jeter tied Lou Gehrig’s all-time Yankees hit record. The hit was a bunt single off Tampa Bay Rays rookie pitcher Jeff Niemann. Jeter has autographed the top of the base with an added “2721” to commemorate his record tying hit. The signature rates a 9 and the base comes with LOAs from JSA and Yankees-Steiner.
