This is a game-used first base from the September 11th, 2009 game at Yankee Stadium in which Derek Jeter surpassed Lou Gehrig to become the all-time Yankee hit leader. He accomplished that feat in the third inning of the game by slapping a single off of Baltimore Orioles pitcher Chris Tillman. Jeter has autographed the top of the base in black sharpie with an added “2722” to represent his record breaking 2,722nd hit. The signature rates a 9 and comes with LOAs from JSA and Yankees-Steiner.
