On the front left tail is the "WILSON" manufacturers size 40 tag with wash instructions. Below that is "1969 Set 2" chain stitch in the jersey. In the collar of this jersey is a flannel strip tag with "NYMAN" in blue chain stitch. Across the front is "CHICAGO WHITE SOX" in white on blue tackle twill with blue embroidery. Below on the front left is the player number “15’ in white on blue tackle twill. On the back is the player number “15" in blue on white tackle twill. Across the back is the player name "ORTIZ" in blue on white tackle twill. The numbers and name on back have been changed. On the left sleeve the MLB “100th Anniversary” patch has been removed. The jersey shows game-use and besides the above mentioned changes appears to have no other alterations of any kind. Originally issued to Jerry Nyman in 1969 and later re-issued and worn by Jose Ortiz in 1970. Obtained directly from Ortiz.
