Hall of Famer Don Drysdale pitching for the Brooklyn/Los Angeles Dodgers, teamed with Sandy Koufax during the late 1950s and early-middle 1960s to form one of the most dominating pitching duos in history. The hurler (nicknamed "Big D" by fans) used brush-back pitches and a sidearm fastball to intimidate batters, similar to his fierce fellow Hall of Famer Bob Gibson. His 154 hit batsmen remains a modern National League record. In the back collar is the “W.A. Goodman & Sons” manufacturers tag. Across the front is “Dodgers” in white tackle twill. On the left sleeve is the player number “53” in white tackle twill. The zipper is intact but does not work. The jacket shows tremendous wear and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
