On September 11, 1985, Show became famous for giving up Pete Rose's 4,192nd hit, surpassing Ty Cobb's 4,191 career hits record, to set the all-time mark. In the back inside collar is the "Wilson" manufacturers size 42 tag with wash instructions on it. On the front left tail is the “30 85” embroidered strip tag. On the front left chest is “SD.” On the back is the player number "30." Across the back is the player name "SHOW" sewn directly on back. All lettering and numbering is done in brown on orange tackle twill. On the left sleeve is the "RAK" in brown tackle twill, for the death of team owner, Ray Kroc. Autographed on front in blue marker by Pete Rose with “9/11//85” added and rates a 9. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind. The autograph is accompanied by a LOA from JSA.
