Behind the magnificent pitching of Josh Beckett and the clutch hitting of David Ortiz, the Boston Red Sox made their 2007 campaign a memorable one. They came back from a three games to one deficit in the ALCS to go and sweep the Colorado Rockies, winning their second World Championship in four years. This trunk was used by the Red Sox during this magical campaign, both during the regular season and throughout the post season. This black "Olympic" case measures 33" x 30" x 25" and weighs approximately 100 pounds. On each side is "BOSTON RED SOX EQUIPMENT" stenciled in white. Both the MLB hologram numbered "74375BB" and Steiner hologram "10252" are affixed. There is a red "1" decal on the upper right corner. There are two large drawers inside used for storage. There are wheels on the base that are in perfect working order. This piece of Red Sox history is accompanied by a LOA from Steiner. This lot will be expensive to ship.
