This game-used base was on the baseball diamond for Cardinals opening day at Busch Stadium on April 1, 2008. It has a large Opening Day 2008 logo in the center of the base, underneath which Albert Pujols has signed his name with his added “#5” and “M.V.P. 08”. The signature rates an 8. Two opposing sides of the base have the St. Louis Cardinals team name and logo, with the other two opposing sides displaying Opening Day 2008 logos with the words “I LIVE FOR THIS”. On the back of the base in blue pen is the note “April 1 2008 Cards vs. Rockies Opening Day 2nd Base 5th Inning Set”, next to which is an official MLB hologram with the tag number “944709” on it. The base shows good game use with a lot of dirt coloration. Comes with a LOA from JSA and an additional LOA from Upper Deck.
