This 1913 World Series Program features a colonial era statesman shaking hands with New York Giants manager John McGraw and congratulating him with the words “Congratulations John! Five Championships in Ten Years!” The Giants would go on to defeat the Philadelphia Athletics that season. In fact, the Giants had at that point played in the World Series in all but two seasons since 1903, with the outcomes for each season listed on the bottom of the cover and the years 1913 to 1920 handwritten below the printed ones, which span from 1903 to 1912. Program is in overall EX condition with some wear and a light fold on the front cover.
