This Adirondack Model 302 bat was made to commemorate Willie Mays’ 600th home run. There is a silver plaque on the barrel with the inscription “TO COMMEMORATE THE 600th. HOME RUN OF Willie Mays”. It continues with details of the shot, “391 FT. SEPT. 22, 1969 SAN DIEGO, CALIF.” The barrel itself is imprinted with “BIG STICK” and “FLAME TREATED” around an engraved “Willie Mays”. Bat is in MINT condition.
