In 1999, the 70th playing of the MLB All-Star game was held in Boston’s historic Fenway Park. The American League won by a final score of 4-1, and the ring offered here was given to each player who participated in the mid-summer classic. On the top of this size 11 to 11-1/4 All-Star ring is a beautiful, translucent cherry- red stone with “’99” for the year cast in gold in the center, and a small diamond stone placed inside the year. Around the perimeter are cast the words “MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL” and “ALL STAR”. On the left side panel is written “FENWAY PARK 1912”, which sits above a casting of the American League logo. On the right side panel is a casting of the Red Sox logo with the words “ALL STAR GAME ‘99” directly on top of it. Below that is a depiction of a baseball diamond with the word “BOSTON” underneath. Ring is in overall NRMT-MINT condition and comes in a black velour box.
