Five games were all the Baltimore Orioles needed in the 1970 World Series to dispatch the Cincinnati Reds. With AL MVP Boog Powel and 16 time Gold Glove winner Brooks Robinson at third base, the Orioles celebrated a 108 win season and their second World Championship that year. This 12” tall World Series trophy commemorates that win, and features a gold crown atop an arc centerpiece over a silver baseball. The base is surrounded by 26 gold flags with black lettering on the flag poles, one for each MLB team. The two World Series teams’ press pins (Orioles and Reds) are mounted on small poles on the seven inch diameter black base, in front of the silver baseball. The surrounding gold band reads “WORLD SERIES CHAMPIONS BALTIMORE ORIOLES”. In overall EXMT condition with very light wear.
