Nicknamed "Trots", he was drafted in 2nd Round, 22nd overall by the New York Islanders in the 1974 NHL Entry Draft. Trottier played his first fifteen seasons in the NHL with the Islanders. On the back inside collar is a "AIR-KNIT" manufacturer's tag, which is completely faded and unreadable. On the inside back is the original fight strap. On the front is the large "Islanders" logo in white, blue, and orange tackle twill. On the back and on both sleeves is the player number "19" in white on orange tackle twill. Across the back is the player name "TROTTIER" in white on orange tackle twill on a blue name plate. On the back bottom right is the “SANDOW SK” screen printed in white logo. The jersey shows good game-use with board and stick marks and appears to have no alterations of any kind. Accompanied by a LOA from Meigray.
