This official NBA Spalding basketball was used during the 2003-2004 NBA Finals. “SPALDING” is printed across the central panel of the basketball, with a smaller “LOS ANGELES LAKERS” printed on the panel above that. On the panel below the Spalding designation are the words “Official Game Ball NBA” with David J. Stern’s name and his “COMMISSIONER NATIONAL BASKETBALL ASSOCIATION” title printed underneath that. On the panel below that is the 2004 NBA Finals logo. An NBA logo and another “SPALDING” imprint can be found on opposite panels of the ball, which shows game-use.
