Hall of Famer Alex English was the NBA's most prolific scorer during the 1980’s and retired as the seventh-leading scorer with 25,613 points. After being underutilized by the Milwaukee Bucks and the Indiana Pacers during his first four years in the league, English became the most explosive member of a high-powered Denver Nuggets team that consistently ranked among the league's top-scoring clubs. The sleek, 6-7 forward became the first player ever to string together eight straight 2,000-point seasons. In the inside back collar are the “Powers” size (unreadable), “2” L.B.,” and “2” L.S.” flag tags. Across the front is "NUGGETS" in yellow on navy blue tackle twill. On the left sleeve is the player number "2" in the same tackle twill. On the lower left tail is the large official "NBA" logo patch. On the back is "DENVER" in yellow on navy blue tackle twill. Autographed on back in silver marker and rates an 8. In the inside back waistband is the “Powers” size (unreadable) and “38” Inseam” flag tags. On the upper left leg is the player number "2" in the same tackle twill. The warm-up uniform shows wear and appears to have no alterations of any kind. The autograph is accompanied by a LOA from JSA.
