Kevin Durant was taken second overall in the 2007 NBA Draft by the Sonics. On October 31, 2007, Durant made his NBA debut with 18 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 steals in a loss to the Denver Nuggets. Durant's 20.3 point per game season average broke the SuperSonics 40-year old rookie record set by Bob Rule during the 1967-68 season. On April 30, 2008, the Associated Press reported that Durant was chosen to receive the NBA Rookie of the Year Award for the 2007-08 season. On the front tail is the "ADIDAS" manufacturers tag. Attached are four additional manufacturer’s tags with the jersey size "50","LENGTH +4", “CLIMALITE”, and "2007-2008" on them. “35 DURANT” is written on the tag in black marker. Across the front is "SONICS" in white and yellow tackle twill. Below that and on the back is the player number "35" in green on yellow tackle twill. Across the back is the player name “DURANT” in green tackle twill. On the upper left breast is the official embroidered “NBA” logo. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
