The 1991-1992 campaign was the season in which Michael Jordan began to solidify his place in basketball’s history books as one of the game’s greatest ever team leaders. That season’s World Championship was the Bulls’ second in as many years, which followed a then franchise best regular season win total of 67. It also saw Jordan collect another pair of League MVP awards, one for his regular season performance and one for his dazzling display in the Finals. Over the next six seasons, Jordan would bring four more World Championships to the Windy City, completing an astonishingly dominant pair of three-peats. Offered here is the size 11 to 11-1/4 14K yellow gold World Championship ring, which weighs a whopping 43 grams (1.52 ounces). The word “BULLS” is displayed on top with 32 diamonds set in it. This sits on top of a double inlaid black onyx stone, which is surrounded by another 28 baget diamond stones. On the left side panel is cast the name “SMITH”, who was the ring’s owner, as well as the word “PHOTO”. In between the words are an image of a basketball and a hoop and the numbers “67” and “15” to commemorate the regular season win-loss record. On the right side panel is a casting of the words “WORLD CHAMPIONS” and “BACK TO BACK” which surround the NBA logo and the numbers “91” and “92” to identify the season. The inside of the ring has a manufacturer’s print that reads “JOSTENS 14K”. Ring is in overall NRMT-MINT condition and comes in a black velour box.
