Ewing was selected as one of the 50 Greatest Basketball Players of All Time. On April 7, 2008 he was elected to the National Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, Massachusetts. On the front left tail is the "Champion" manufacturers size 48 tag with wash instructions. Adjacent is another Champion "Designed & Tailored For NBA 50th Anniversary 1996-1997" tag. In the inside seam is the “4” Extra Length” tag. Across the front is "NEW YORK." Below that and on the back is the player number "33." Across the back is the player name "EWING." All lettering and numbering is done in blue on orange tackle twill. On the left breast is the official "NBA 50th Anniversary" embroidered gold logo. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
