Hall of Famer and Top 50 member, Jones spent all of his twelve seasons in the NBA with the Boston Celtics who drafted him in the first round in 1957. Jones was known as a clutch scorer, and scored over 15,000 points in his career. He participated in five All-Star Games, and is usually recognized as one of the best shooting guards of his generation. Jones was named to the All-NBA Second Team three straight years (1965–67) and he played on ten championship teams (1959-66 and 1968-69) — a total exceeded only by teammate Bill Russell in NBA history. On the inside back collar of this short sleeve fleece Boston Celtics green warm-up jacket is the "WILSON" manufacturers tag. Attached is the size "44" flag tag. Across the front is "BOSTON" in white on yellow tackle twill. Below on the left is the “HALL OF FAME FOUNDER” patch. On the back is the player name “S. JONES” in green tackle twill on a white name plate which is attached to the back of the jacket with seven metal snap fasteners. On each sleeve is the official "Celtics Shamrock" logo in white on yellow tackle twill. The jacket has six green buttons going down the front. The Walter Brown black armband has been removed from the left sleeve. The jacket shows nice wear and besides the armband removal appears to have no other alterations of any kind.
