This 8” x 9-1/2” wooden plaque commemorates Dennis Johnson’s first All-Star selection, which came during his 1979 World Championship season with the Seattle SuperSonics, the year in which he also took home Finals MVP honors. The wording on the plaque reads “Presented to DENNIS JOHNSON IN RECOGNITION OF BEING SELECTED FOR THE NBA ALL-STAR TEAM”. Below that is a NBA logo with “NBA ALL-STAR GAME” and the date and location of the game “FEBRUARY 4, 1979 / PONTIAC, MICHIGAN”. The award was obtained directly from Johnson’ family and is in EX condition. Comes with a family LOA.
