A 6-4 forward/guard from the University of Michigan, Lee was selected by the Detroit Pistons in the fourth round of the 1959 NBA Draft. He had a seven-year career in the NBA, playing two seasons with the Pistons and five with the San Francisco Warriors. He retired from playing in 1968, and coached the Warriors for the next two seasons. On the left front tail is the “Wilson” manufacturer’s 42 tag. Attached is a handwritten “44 +3” flag tag. Across the front is “WARRIORS.” Below on front and on back is the player number “9.” All lettering and numbering is done in blue on white tackle twill. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind. Accompanied by an additional LOA.
