On the front left tail of this grey flannel jersey is the “Spalding” manufacturer’s tag with a size “44” tag attached. Embroidered below is a wash instructions tag. Inside the rear collar is a felt strip tag with “44 Set 1 70” embroidered in navy blue chain stitch indicating jersey size, set and year, respectively. Across the front is “BRAVES”. On back is the manager’s number “26”. All numbers and letters are done in navy blue on red tackle twill. On the left sleeve is the Chief Noc-A-Homa’s “Screaming Indian” embroidered patch. Inside the front left breast is a pocket made to hold cigarettes. The jersey shows wear and except for the added pouch appears to have no further alterations of any kind.
