Hall of Famer Frank Robinson played from 1956–1976, most notably for the Cincinnati Reds and the Baltimore Orioles. He is the only player to win league MVP honors in both the National and American Leagues. He won the Triple Crown Award, was a member of two teams that won the World Series (the 1966 and 1970 Baltimore Orioles), and amassed the fourth-most career home runs at the time of his retirement. Robinson was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1982. He was the first African-American hired to serve as manager in Major League history. Inside the rear collar is the “Wilson” manufacturer’s tag with wash instructions and jersey size “42”. On the left front tail is a strip tag with “78 1” indicating jersey year and set, respectively. “ST” is written in black marker indicating spring training. Across the front is “Orioles”. Number “20” appears on both the front and back. The coach’s name “ROBINSON” appears on back on a grey nameplate. All numbers and letters are done in orange on black tackle twill. Robinson has signed the right front tail in black marker rating a 7-8. The jersey shows wear and appears to have no alterations of any kind. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA for the signature.
