On the left front tail is the “Spalding” manufacturer’s tag. Attached is the size “44” flag tag. Directly below is “Ditmar 28 57” embroidered in navy blue chain stitch indicating player name, number and jersey year, respectively. Inside the left front tail is a wash instructions tag. Attached is a flag tag with “SET 1 1957”. On the left breast is the team interlocking “NY” logo which has been restored. Player number “28” appears on back. All numbers and letters are done in navy blue felt which appear original. There are a few small holes adjacent to the “8” on back as well as a one half inch hole adjacent to the number “2” on back. The jersey shows game-use and other than what is mentioned appears to have no further alterations of any kind. Outstanding overall condition.
