On the left front tail is the “Russell” manufacturer’s tag with wash instructions and the Steiner hologram affixed. Attached are two flag tags, “56 100% Polyester” and “4” Extra Length”. Adjacent is a white label with “2003”. Across the front is “NEW YORK”. Player number “33” appears on back. All numbers and letters are done in navy blue on white tackle twill. On the left sleeve is the Yankees “100th Anniversary” embroidered patch. On the right sleeve is the 2003 World Series patch. At the rear neck is the official MLB embroidered logo patch. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind. While it is possible that this was worn in the World Series, it is also possible that this is a regular season shirt with the patch added.
