Throughout the September 6-11, 2005 home stand in tribute to the efforts of organizations working to aid victims of Hurricane Katrina, the Yankees wore Salvation Army patches on the right sleeves of their jerseys. Aaron Small finished the 2005 season 10-0 and became just the fourth pitcher in history to win at least 10 games without a loss. On the front left tail is the "Majestic" manufacturer’s tag with three flag tags attached reading size "50", year "2005" and alteration “-1” body”. MLB hologram affixed numbered “MT00654242”. Inside the left seam is a heavily faded wash tag with code "0062". On the left breast is the team interlocking "NY" logo done in navy blue tackle twill. On the back is the player number "31" also done in navy blue tackle twill. On the rear outer collar is the official MLB embroidered logo patch. On the right sleeve is the "Salvation Army" patch. On the left sleeve is residue as it appears that the patch was applied to the wrong sleeve and taken off. The jersey shows game-use and other than what is mentioned appears to have no further alterations of any kind. It is accompanied by a Yankees-Steiner LOA.
