New York area artist Gerry Dvorak was a freelancer in the early 1950's and was hired by both Topps and Bowman to produce sports portraits for their upcoming card sets. Little did Dvorak realize that he was producing portraits for a number of cards that would become some of the most valuable post-war baseball cards to ever see print. This original Dvorak piece of baseball art-history is beautifully matted and framed to 28” x 32”. Painting is in NRMT overall condition and will require additional shipping charges.
