This original 1936 New York Giants World Series press pin weighs five grams and measures ? of an inch across. Members of the press and special dignitaries were given these pins to gain access to press areas not intended for the public. The face of the pin reads “1936 N.Y. GIANTS WORLD SERIES PRESS”. The face is designed to resemble a baseball and it is enameled in yellow, blue and white. The back of the pin is stamped “D&C (Dieges & Clust) 1/20 10K K.G.F.” and it is in VGEX condition overall. This lot comes to us directly from the family of Al Campanis.
