Six Alex Campanis player contracts ranging from AA ball (1942) with the Montreal Baseball Club to the Big Leagues where he played for the Brooklyn Dodgers in 1943. Contracts contain fascinating content including his AA contract which states “For the service aforesaid the Club will pay the Player an aggregate salary of $200.00 monthly, as follows:”. He went on to make $600 monthly in 1946. All contracts are signed in black ink rating from 6-9. All contracts were once folded into thirds likely to be put in envelopes, and are in EX condition overall. This lot comes from the Campanis Estate, and is accompanied by a JSA LOA.
