On the right front tail of this blue knit jersey is the “Rawlings” manufacturer’s tag with wash instructions. The tag was cut and sewn on in the factory. A second tag was added to the right side with size “52”. Attached is a white label with “4” Longer”. Across the front is “NATIONAL”. Player number “52” appears on both the front and back in white on red tackle twill. Player name “MACK” appears across the back in white tackle twill on a blue nameplate. There is some light brown staining on the front number which appears to be blood. Mack has signed the back number in black marker adding the inscription “1/25/72” rating a 9 which is four days after the 1972 AFC-NFC Pro Bowl in Los Angeles. The jersey shows appropriate one game use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
