There was no number “59” on the 1969 St. Louis Cardinals roster. On the left front tail is the “Russell Southern” manufacturer’s tag with wash instructions and jersey size “50”. Directly above is the “Giesler-Jorgen” distributors tag. Player number “59” appears on the front, back and on both shoulders in red heat transferred vinyl numbers. On the left sleeve is the “NFL 50” embroidered patch. The jersey is game-issued showing no use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
