Steve Young was named the MVP of the NFL in 1992 and 1994, the MVP of Super Bowl XXIX, and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2005, the first left-handed quarterback to be so honored. He ranks third in NFL history in career passer rating among NFL quarterbacks who have thrown at least 1,500 passing attempts. Young also won a record six NFL passing titles. On the left front tail is the “Wilson” manufacturer’s tag with wash instructions. Attached is the size “44” flag tag. Adjacent is a white strip tag with jersey year “95” embroidered in red stitch. Player number “8” appears on the front, back and on both sleeves in white tackle twill. Player name “YOUNG” appears across the back in the same tackle twill on a red nameplate. On each sleeve is the Wilson embroidered logo patch. Young has signed the back number in blue marker rating an 8. At the V-neck is the official NFL embroidered logo shield. The jersey shows light quarterback use and appears to have no alterations of any kind. It is accompanied by a LOA from JSA.
