The last quarterback of the Quarterback Class of 1983 to be taken in the first round, Marino became one of the most prolific quarterbacks in league history, holding or having held almost every major NFL passing record. He is recognized as one of the greatest quarterbacks in football history. Best remembered for his quick release and powerful arm, Marino led the Dolphins to the playoffs ten times in his seventeen-season career. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2005. The bottom of this white mesh jersey have been taken in and folded up inside the shirt. Inside the left front tail of the new hem is the “Russell” manufacturer’s tag with wash instructions and jersey size “XL”. Attached is a flag tag with “100% Nylon”. Player number “13” appears on the front, back and on both sleeves in teal screen print with a green border. Player name “MARINO” appears on back in green tackle twill on a white nameplate. Marino has signed the nameplate in black marker with the inscription “13” rating an 8. There is a large team repair on the right sleeve. The jersey shows light quarterback use and other than what is mentioned appears to have no further alterations of any kind. It is accompanied by a LOA from JSA for the signature.
