Daryle Lamonica spent his collegiate career at the University of Notre Dame, and was the team's starting quarterback for three seasons. After a 20-for-28, 349-yard performance in the 1962 East-West Shrine Game at Kezar Stadium in San Francisco, Lamonica was named the game's Most Valuable Player. This jacket was purchased directly from Lamonica. Inside the rear collar is the “Awara Garment” manufacturer’s tag with jacket size “46”. On the left breast is the Notre Dame “ND” logo done in gold chenille embroidery. Inside the right pocket is a white flag tag with “SIZE 48 100% VIRGIN WOOL”. The jacket shows wear and appears to have no alterations of any kind. Accompanied by photos of Lamonica wearing this very jacket.
