Matted and framed in museum quality to measure 33” x 33”. This LE Rendering 187/1500 is done by Bob Peak who is often regarded as Norman Rockwell’s successor. The illustration depicts Louis vs. Schmelling with Louis throwing a right cross. The fight took place on June 22, 1938 when Yankee Stadium packed in 80,000 attendees. Hand signed in pencil at the bottom by both fighters under their respective selves, each rating a 9. Accompanied by a JSA LOA, as well as an additional LOA.
