This tie-down dureen jersey comes to us from the collection of Al Trautwig. Greg Polis wore number “22” the first half of the 1973-74 season and then was traded. Bob Kelly came to the Penguins and wore the same number. Inside the rear tail is the “Rawlings” manufacturer’s tag with jersey size “50”. Attached is a wash instructions tag. Across the front is a large team patch done in black, gold and white embroidery. On back and on both sleeves is player number “22” done in white tackle twill. There is a clear sign of two names having been added to the back of the sweater. This was done for TV purposes during the 73-74 season as the teams would attach names for the telecast and then remove them. The fight strap is intact and shows rusting. The jersey shows game-use and other than what is mentioned appears to have no further alterations of any kind. It is accompanied by a LOA from Al Trautwig as well as a LOA from Milt Byron.
