When dribbling wizard and Hall of Famer Marques Haynes left the Globetrotters in 1953, he founded his own barnstorming team, the Harlem Magicians, and the team has been around comedy basketball in one form or another ever since. On the back inside tail is the "Rawlings" manufacturers size 40 tag. Next to this is a wash instructions tag. Across the front is "MAGICIANS" in black on white tackle twill. Below on front is the “MAGICIANS” team logo patch. On the back is the player number "2 1/2" in black on white tackle twill. Autographed on front in black marker and rates a 9. On the inside back waistband of the shorts is the "Rawlings" manufacturers size 32 tag. Next to this is a wash instructions tag. Between these two tags was an additional tag, which is unreadable. On each leg of the shorts is the “MAGICIANS” logo patch. Autographed on front in silver marker and rates a 9. The uniform shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind. The autographs are accompanied by a LOA from JSA.
