Hall of Famer Tiny Archibald was a willing passer and an adequate shooter from midrange. However, it was his blinding quickness and incredible speed and shiftiness that made him extremely difficult to guard in the open court, as he would regularly drive right past helpless defenders on his way to the hoop. Once in the paint, Archibald was a veritable triple threat to either pass, lay the ball in or shoot for two points. In 1996, he was named to the NBA Top 50 team. This shirt is from Nate’s first year with the Celtics. On the left front tail is the “Sand-Knit” manufacturer’s tag with wash instructions and jersey size “40”. Directly above is the “Designed & Tailored Exclusively for the Boston Celtics” tag. Across the front is “CELTICS”. Player number “7” appears on both the front and back. Player name “ARCHIBALD” appears across the back. All numbers and letters are done in white tackle twill. The jersey shows excellent game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
