Framed to measure 23” x 34”, this NY Newsday cover dated October 22, 1998 has been framed and matted to measure 14” x 21”. It pictures Mariano Rivera and then catcher Joe Girardi celebrating the NY Yankees 1998 World Championship on the mound in San Diego. The NY Yankees went 125-50 during the 1998 season as they are considered one of the greatest teams in baseball history, truly defining the word “team”. Mo and Joe have each added their signatures in bold, blue marker rating a 9. Two plaques rest above and below the newspaper cover, each being matted and describe the magical season in detail.
