Bobby Valentine was a manager in the Major Leagues for fifteen seasons eight of which came with the Texas Rangers and seven with the New York Mets. Valentine led the Mets to the World Series in 2000. Since leaving the majors Valentine has managed in Japan winning a Championship over there. At the end of 2011 the Boston Red Sox hired Bobby V to be their next manager.
